Consumer goods giant Unilever has chosen Landid’s Leatherhead office scheme for its 150,000 sq ft relocation.
The FTSE 100 company – which produces household products including Persil, PG Tips and Pot Noodle – will move to Landid’s three-building scheme on Leatherhead Office Park, Springfield Drive, Surrey.
The company began its search for a new office complex in February in order to consolidate its offices along the south-west M25.
The letting is a coup for Landid, which was set up last year by former Akeler chief executives Trevor Silver and Steven Morgan. They are planning a 193,500 sq ft office scheme.
Unilever had also shortlisted: Prudential’s and Helical Bar’s The Heights in Weybridge; Aviator Park in Addlestone; and a site in Crawley Business Quarter.
Jones Lang LaSalle advised Unilever. Holley Blake and Knight Frank advised Landid.
