Stanhope’s refurbishment of Unilever House at 100 Victoria Embankment, EC4, was one of five European buildings to win an Urban Land Institute 2008 Award for Excellence last Friday.
ULI said that the 385,500 sq ft redevelopment – the only UK winner – had restored the Grade II listed property’s “classical grandeur and commercial relevance in the City”.
