Union leaders from the Parsons steam turbine plant in Newcastle and the International Combustion boiler works in Derby will meet with senior Rolls-Royce executives for an update on the company’s attempts to sell the businesses. The UK aero-engineering and industrial power group put its steam turbine power generation business up for sale in late July.
