Goodman has agreed a 10-year lease with logistics and trade management provider Uniserve on a 192,288 sq ft distribution warehouse at its Brackmills industrial estate in Northampton.
Uniserve is understood to be paying around £5.75 per sq ft for the facility, which also has office space.
The firm will start using the facility during the summer, after a fit-out, to provide supply chain services for a new unnamed client and to support the company’s growth.
John Gandy, group property director at Uniserve, said: “The majority of this operation will be servicing the supply chain needs of one of our many retail and manufacturing customers.”
Goodman UK development director Nigel Dolan said: “We’re seeing strong demand in the sector – particularly in Northampton and the East Midlands – confirming its suitability as a strategic location and core distribution hub.”
