Student housing developer Unite Group and small office specialist Workspace Group will move from the small to mid-caps after a FTSE reshuffle.
The two companies will join the FTSE 250 on September 21 when the reordering comes into effect.
Unite recently reported a bumper set of results for the first half of the year, with a 5.3% rise in net asset value per share (NAV), while London-focused Workspace Group posted an 8% increase in NAV in its March 2012 full yearly results.
