Student housing developer Unite has completed its purchase of a 1.4-acre Holloway, north London, site, for a 862-bed development.
Unite said its deal to buy Stapleton House, N7, from London Metropolitan university is now complete. A provisional deal subject to planning was agreed last year.
The company will develop an Architecture PLB-designed project for a summer 2016 completion.
Unite managing director of property Richard Simpson said: “London is home to over 350,000 students and there is a growing need for well-managed, purpose-built student accommodation in good locations.”
