Unite Students hires CIO from Landsec

Unite Students has appointed Ian Golding as its interim chief information officer, nearly three months after he joined Landsec in the same role.

Golding joined Landsec in March this year.

He has spent the last five years in a number of key interim chief information officer roles at organisations including Lentirim, Anthesis Group, Waterlogic International, SThree, Wavecrest and the Natural History Museum.

Before those roles, he was at ERM Group for 19 years, rising to the position of chief information officer there, latterly as an equity partner.

A spokesperson for Unite Students told EG that Golding will be responsible for “creating a unified vision” of its data and digital products, as well as leading its IT team.
