Rick de Blaby, the chief executive of United House Group Holdings, has joined the board of private investment and development company Altitude Real Estate.
Altitude is run by former Argent Group directors Stephen Tillman and Gary Taylor and Resolution Property founding partner Nigel Robson.
Prior to joining United House as chief executive in 2014, de Blaby was chief executive of MEPC.
Robson said: “Rick brings to Altitude a wealth of experience in office, mixed-use and residential development that will add to the excellent track record and capabilities of the team.
“Having recently secured backing from a cornerstone investor to create an investment and development portfolio with a size in excess of £300m, this is another important stepping stone in the evolution of Altitude.”
Altitude made its debut acquisition in September 2015, buying the West Byfleet District Centre in Surrey from BP Pension Fund for £10m.
The company is now working with Woking District Council to bring forward a £100m commercial and residential regeneration project on the site.
“It was a pleasure to be asked to join such an experienced management team that not only identifies exciting opportunities, but also has the all-round capabilities to deliver exceptional projects,” de Blaby added.
