Universal Salvage expects to take on new sites as demand for its contract car salvage operation increases. It has added about 50% to capacity since last year. It recently leased a 19.43ha (48 acre) auction site at Sandwich, Kent.
It announced interim pre-tax profits up from £1.55m to £2.31m on turnover up 24% to £26.1m.
