The University of London has paid Allied London £11.25m for the 30,000 sq ft (2,787 sq m) 15 Tavistock Place, WC1.
It is occupied by the British Transport Police until next year, when the university is considering a redevelopment of up to 70,000 sq ft (6,503 sq m).
Anthony Green & Spencer and CWHB advised Allied London; Knight Frank acted for the university.
