The University of Birmingham has launched a hunt for a development partner for its £125m Pritchatts Park Village student scheme.
The university will procure a partner to finance and develop the expansion of the Edgbaston campus with a contract valued at £125m.
This will include developing 496 student bedrooms designed by Glancy Nicholls in a consented townhouse scheme (pictured) on vacant land and refurbishing some 734 existing rooms.
It will involve leasing, maintaining and operating Pritchatts Park Village and providing a new 482-space multi-storey car park.
The university will sell a 50-year lease to the preferred bidder. It is inviting tenders until 10 April.
