Untold Living appoints chief financial officer

Later living developer-operator Untold Living has appointed Henry Sumner as its chief financial officer.

Sumner was previously the operational finance director at Battersea Power Station, where he worked across multiple phases of the mixed-use redevelopment project.

He has also held roles as property fund controller at Lothbury Investment Management and at AXA, where he oversaw a residential fund.

Sumner joined Matter Real Estate-backed Untold Living in January as interim chief financial officer before being appointed to the permanent role this summer.

Untold Living is targeting a GDV of £300m for its initial development pipeline and is seeking to acquire other suitable sites and assets across the UK to expand its portfolio.

Russell Jewell, chief executive of Untold Living, said: “Henry has been an invaluable addition to the team over the past six months – his oversight of Untold Living’s finances has helped us make great strides towards our growth ambitions.

“As we look to expand our portfolio, we are excited to be growing our team to support us in capitalising on the great potential within the UK’s later living sector.”
