The last byte

Two computer companies have snapped up the last space at the 55,740m2 (600,000 sq ft) Capstan House office scheme at East India Dock, E1. Safetynet has taken 2,043m2 (22,000 sq ft) and Guardian DR 4,124m2 (44,400 sq ft) at £156 per m2 (£14.50 per sq ft). Celexa Reim advised joint owners SPP and NCC. Agents are Weatheralls and Knight Frank.

Celexa clients take shearwater

Blue Circle Pension Fund has sold Units 1-3 Wells Court on the Shearwater Business Estate, Woking, for £7.8m, reflecting a net yield of 8.9%. Buyers were overseas clients of Celexa Real Estate Investment Management. The 3,586m2 (38,606 sq ft) of space is let to McDonnell Douglas and EDS International Ltd for 25 years from September 1989. Weatherall Green & Smith represented Blue Circle. Montagu Evans represented Celexa.

Agfa sells HQ

Agfa-Gevaert has sold its UK HQ at 27 Great West Road, Brentford, to Phillips & Drew Fund Management for £8.7m, subject to consent for a complete refurbishment. Agfa will take a 10-year lease on 4,180m2 (45,000 sq ft) of the 1980s 9,290m2 (100,000 sq ft) building.The rest will be let. FPDSavills advised Phillips & Drew; Saxon Law acted for Agfa-Gevaert.
