Urbo has submitted new scaled-down plans for a £175m office-led scheme at West Bar Square in Sheffield.

More than half of 1.4m sq ft project will comprise office space for 5,000 workers. The plan also includes blocks of flats, a four-star hotel, restaurants, and shops across 10 buildings.

The plans represent a scaled-down version of a previously consented Castlemore scheme. Three large towers previously included have been reduced in scale, which Urbo said would create a “more vibrant and deliverable” project.

It has been developed in conjunction with development partners Sheffield City Council.

BNP Paribas and Knight Frank have been appointed as joint agents for West Bar Square.
