US burger chain Good Stuff Eatery is in negotiations to open its first outlet in the UK, and is close to agreeing a deal for a site in London’s Leicester Square.
One suggestion is that it may take over the site currently leased by Häagen-Dazs, at an estimated annual rent of £1.5m.
Charles Benjamin Associates and Dean Gambles & Co have been tasked with finding four UK sites for the company’s restaurants. Good Stuff Eatery’s deputy chief executive, Micheline Mendelsohn, described London as a good introductory platform, and said it was also looking at Cardiff, Leeds and Oxford.
