An American film studio has launched plans for a £150m site in Reading.
Atlanta-based Blackhall Studios, which was responsible for Venom, Godzilla and Jumanji: The Next Level, said that it had selected the UK as its first site outside the US after calls from its clients, including Sony, Universal and Disney.
The studio is expected to open at Berkshire’s Thames Valley Science Park in two years’ time, and is expected to contribute £500m to the UK economy each year.
