US hotel chains pare forecasts

Marriott International and Hilton Worldwide Holdings have cut growth projections as analysts caution that the hotel industry in the US could be approaching a cyclical peak.

Hilton is now expecting revenue growth of between 2% and 4% per available room, down from the 3%-5% expected previously. Marriott expects growth of 3%, compared with 3%-5% previously.
