Providian National Bank, a leading US bank card issuer, has taken the whole of 16-18 Monument Street, London EC3.
The bank is understood to be paying around £51 per sq ft for the 1,823 sq m (19,620 sq ft) building, which underwent a major refurbishment completed in August.
Providian National Bank has taken out a 15-year lease as part of a planned expansion of its UK and international operations and 16-18 Monument Street will become its international headquarters.
CB Hillier Parker acted for the landlord, Rolls Royce Pension Fund, and Providian National Bank was advised by BH2.
