US real estate tycoon lines up to buy Everton

Everton owner Farhad Moshiri is in talks to sell the football club to a US real estate investor.

Maciek Kaminski, a Minnesota-based investor, is in advanced talks to buy the club for around £400m.

Kaminski built his wealth acquiring office properties in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Moshiri, who owns Everton FC through an Isle of Man entity, had been seeking new investment to help fund the club’s £500m new stadium.
