Property fund manager Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) has confirmed Graham Burnett as Robert Walden’s successor.
Walden announced his retirement at head of property at the company late last month.
Burnett will be responsible for the fund’s £2bn property portfolio, which includes Telford and Gyle Shopping Centres, together with Grand Arcade, Cambridge.
He has previously worked at Mapeley, Royal London Asset Management, and Jones Lang LaSalle.
Burnett has been promoted from fund manager for USS’s retail property portfolio, a position he has held for the last three years.
