V7 Asset Management has hired Aviva Investors director Stephen Parry-Jones to lead its new industrial service.

Parry-Jones previously led Aviva’s industrial real estate investment strategy. He latterly worked there as a real estate investment transactions director, having joined in 2015 as an industrial asset management associate director.
Before that, he spent six years at Lambert Smith Hampton as an associate director in the national investment team.
In his new role, Parry-Jones will focus on growing the division, called V7 Industrial, through new instructions as well as the firm’s existing client base. He has joined as a director and will be based in London.
Matt Leach, director at V7, said: “As a firm we are well known for our office specialism but have for some time had an eye on industrial, both as a market that holds considerable opportunities and as a sector where many existing clients would benefit from our approach.”
Parry-Jones said: “It is a market that is going through significant change, benefiting from huge shifts in consumer behaviour, and holds great potential for value enhancement for both existing investors and those seeking exposure to the sector.”
V7 was founded five years ago by Chris Hunt and Zak Veasey. It oversees close to £500m of assets with a rent roll of £23m.
Since its launch, V7 has managed 400,000 sq ft of new lettings, £85m of capex projects and 600,000 sq ft of lease re-gears, and has secured planning permission for nearly 750,000 sq ft of space.
