Hines is to sign German restaurant chain Vapiano as the first tenant at its prime retail block in Glasgow.
The restaurant, which serves Italian cuisine, is under offer for 10,000 sq ft on the first floor of 229-249 Buchanan Street. It is expected to sign a 25-year lease on the site, which would be its first in Scotland.
The deal is the latest in a trend of large food brands opening in Glasgow since the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Earlier this year burger chain Byron signed for space in 100 West George Street, and Spanish tapas chain Ibérica said it planned to open a restaurant in the city.
CBRE and Springford & Co are the letting agents on the scheme.
