International Bank Vaults have set up their new piggy bank for billionaires in the grade-II listed Stanhope House, next to the Dorchester Hotel, with an aim to be the most exclusive – i.e., expensive – deposit boxes in the world. It has stated that it will only deal with provable billionaires.
For those billionaires too stingy to shell out £2.5m for a room, the smallest safety deposit box is about the size of a shoe box and costs just £600-a-year. Enough room for “a fair few gold bars”, according to managing director Sean Hoey.
