European logistics investor and developer Verdion has appointed Mark Garrity from Chancerygate to its team as development director for the UK.
Garrity has been hired to support Verdion’s next stage of UK growth, building on the success of the flagship iPort multimodal logistics hub outside Doncaster and focussing on logistics development opportunities.
At Chancerygate, he was responsible for delivering new facilities across the Midlands and expanding the firm’s regional presence, including The Forge industrial park in Minworth, Holbrook Park in Coventry and Genesis in Leicester.
His experience also includes client-side and agency roles, and acquisitions and disposals activity across retail and trade counter markets.
