Verson International is to sell its loss-making metal press division to group chairman Tim Kelleher for £29.1m. The division, which employs 200 people in Britain, makes metal presses for the automotive and aircraft industries. It is the second division to be sold by Verson in 12 months to reduce its £52m debt mountain.
