JLL’s extensive refurbishment of its UK headquarters on Warwick Street, W1, is now complete.
Estates Gazette was invited on a tour inside the new offices, which house more than 1,000 JLL staff, making it the largest of the company’s global offices.
The renovation took about four months and was delivered by the company’s own design-and-build business, Tetris, in conjunction with its in-house project managers and workplace consultants.
The operation was dubbed Project Jupiter.
The new layout goes beyond hot-desking to include a “creative zone” where different teams can sit together to work on projects, as well as a new coffee/breakout area combining space for technology classes and informal meetings.
“This is the London HQ that we have spent quite a bit of money on to get right, but we are doing the same with our regional offices as well,” said JLL UK chief executive Guy Grainger.
“We’ve got refits taking place in a number of regional offices in the next 12 months because we want to spread this throughout the UK.”
