An American private equity firm has purchased Village Urban Resorts for more than £480m from the De Vere Group.
KSL Capital Partners, which owns The Belfry golf course, has also just bought Cannizaro House hotel on Wimbledon Common for up to £20m. The firm is also believed to be in final negotiations to buy Great Scotland Yard to convert it into a five-star hotel.
