Vinopolis plans get green light

Vinopolis-Thames-riverside

Meyer Bergman and developer Sherwood Thames have been granted planning permission for the £300m retail-led redevelopment of the former wine tasting venue Vinopolis in Bankside, SE1.

The 197,786 sq ft redevelopment will comprise 111,610 sq ft of shops and 11,334 sq ft of leisure space as well as a new 62,010 sq ft office building at Thames House.

The pair have been working with freeholder Network Rail on the project.
