The return of violence to Northern Ireland has prompted potential investors to look elsewhere, the government said yesterday. Baroness Denton, the province’s economy minister, said one leading foreign firm had indicated that it was no longer considering Northern Ireland as the possible site for a new factory because of last week’s violence.
