Vita Group’s new purpose-built student accommodation scheme, the 578-bed House of Social, was approved by Manchester City Council in a planning meeting earlier today.
House of Social is planned as the first of a new brand concept designed for second- and third-year students who have established friendship groups. Each ‘house’, or shared apartment, is centred around kitchen and lounge space.
The scheme, located on First Street, will have 100 houses, with 576 student bedrooms split across a mixture of five and six-bedrooms residences.
The PBSA will include amenities such as a gym, co-working space, a food hall and a central bar.
