Housing association Vivid has received planning permission for a £220m GDV scheme at Tipner East in Portsmouth.
Portsmouth City Council approved revised plans to develop 850 homes at Victory Quay, earlier this month. An initial planning consent for an 835-home scheme was granted in March last year.
The scheme is being delivered in partnership with Portsmouth City Council and Homes England in an area that was highlighted as part of the government’s City Deal to support economic growth, create jobs and invest in local projects.
The homes will be a mixture of shared ownership and affordable rent.
Vivid chief executive Mark Perry said: “Our strong partnerships with the council and Homes England enable this regeneration to happen as the size, scale and complexity of this development can only happen when these partnerships combine.
“Together we have the expertise and financial strength to complete these types of projects which are vital to the region.”
