Vodafone has opened a store in its world headquarters town of Newbury, Berkshire, after agreeing a deal with its landlord, Jesus College, Oxford.
Vodafone has taken the 2,900 sq ft store at 85 Northbrook Street after previous tenant, Ann Summers, surrendered its lease for a reverse premium.
The store has been let on a new 15-year lease, with five yearly, upward-only rent reviews, and a rent-free period of six months.
Vodafone will pay a rent of £95,000 pa for the store.
