Vygon wins consent for Swindon scheme

Medical products manufacturer Vygon has gained consent for the 46-acre former Motorola site in Blunsdon, Swindon.

Vygon is buying the site from Motorola. It will retain part of the existing facility and build a new 250,000 sq ft warehouse.  The business will relocate from Cirencester and intends to be fully operational from the new site in 2011.

Adam Fletcher of Adapt Properties, Vygon’s retained development manager, said: “This is a fantastic strategic opportunity for Vygon. The new facility will provide much needed state of the art warehouse and office space for the company. In addition to the new Vygon premises there will be a further 20 acres of surplus land offering potential future development opportunities.”

Vygon is relocating from smaller premises in Cirencester.
