Midlands-based Cordwell Property Group has submitted a plans for the Littleton Centre, a cinema-led retail and leisure scheme in Walsall town centre.
The 45,000 sq ft scheme will comprise a nine-screen full digital cinema occupied by Vue with ground floor restaurants, bars and an anchor store.
Tom Wilcox, of Cordwell, said “We are delighted to have secured Vue in this high profile town centre scheme which will add to the ongoing regeneration and provide employment opportunities for the town.
“We have been working hard with the council’s regeneration team over the past six months in order to develop the cinema scheme an bring it to fruition and we are in discussions with several national restaurant brands regarding the ground floor space.”
Subject to conset, work on site will begin later this year.
