Tungsten Properties has named Matt Jones as development director as it continues its UK growth strategy.
The appointment brings the warehouse developer’s team to 10 people.
Jones has more than 12 years’ logistics real estate experience and has joined from Trammell Crow Company, a subsidiary of CBRE, where he was development director for the UK logistics sector. Prior to that, he worked for JLL and CBRE after starting his career at Lambert Smith Hampton.
In his new role, Jones will be tasked with delivering growth for Tungsten’s 2.8m sq ft existing committed development pipeline, spanning from Birkenhead, Merseyside, to Colchester, Essex.
Jeff Penman, managing director at Tungsten, said: “[Jones] brings with him solid agency and developer-side UK logistics experience in both land acquisition and speculative development delivery.”
