Warehouse REIT’s external manager, Tilstone Partners, has appointed Scott Edgar as a regional director.
Edgar will report directly to investment director Paul Makin and will oversee all asset management activity across Warehouse REIT’s Northern England and Scotland portfolio.
He joins the REIT from 4Corners Industrial Asset Management, where he was a director. At his previous job he managed a 2m sq ft portfolio and advised on its acquisition strategy.
Other roles include regional head of asset management for the Ashtenne Industrial Fund.
Edgar will join a 17-strong team responsible for managing Warehouse REIT’s sheds portfolio, which exceeds 6m sq ft. It was valued at around £465m in January.
Makin said the REIT is exploring the potential to grow income and values by developing some of the surplus land attached to a number of its larger holdings.
He added: “The quality of the team is fundamental in ensuring that Tilstone can unlock the full potential of the Warehouse REIT portfolio. Scott shares our ambitions and will be instrumental as we continue to focus on aligning the portfolio to best meet modern occupier requirements.”
