Liverpool City Council has waved through plans to convert a Grade II listed warehouse at 15-17 Fulton Street into an 80-bedroom hotel.
The scheme, located opposite the new £500m Bramley-Moore Dock Everton Stadium, is being brought forward by landowner Rohan Hughes.
Designed by Atelier 2 Architecture, the proposals will see the warehouse, which had previously been used as artist studios, transformed into a hotel with a new-build extension on the adjacent land, which is currently a car park. The hotel will have a reception and bar on the ground floor and a pool and treatment rooms in the basement.
