London & Regional will submit a planning application with Chelsfield this week to redevelop land around Waterloo station.
The two companies are planning a £600m redevelopment of the Elizabeth House site, a tract of land that lies between the station and the London Eye. A 20-storey tower with offices and flats, a gallery and smaller 10-storey block with shops, cafés and offices are envisaged. Some 10,000 sq ft of public space in front of Waterloo’s Victory Arch also features in the plans.
