Waterloo vaults steam ahead
London and Continental Railways has been given the green light to redevelop the railway arches beneath the original Eurostar terminal at Waterloo Station, SE1, into a dining and leisure destination.
The Corstorphine & Wright-designed plans comprise 25,000 sq ft of restaurants and shops. Proposed public realm improvements include a new pedestrian bridge to Westminster Bridge Road.
Union Street Partners is development consultant on the scheme.
