Wates City of London Properties have let their office refurbishment at 4 Brabant Court, EC3, to D P Mann Underwriting Agency at £70,000 pa for the 2,600-sq ft listed building.
The developers have also completed the refurbishment of 7-8 Philpot Lane, EC3 (shown here), another listed building. On basement and four floors, it totals 4,470 sq ft and the asking rent is £115,000 pa. The former Wates City head office at 5 Philpot Lane is also on the market at £34 per sq ft or as a freehold purchase. Agents on all three properties are St Quintin.
Meanwhile, the City Corporation’s planning committee has been advised to refuse an application on 2-3 Philpot Lane. It is for the demolition of the interior but retention of the exterior to provide 16,286 sq ft of offices, and comes from Equitable Life, advised by Walker Son & Packman.
