Watford Borough Council has launched a hunt for a partner for its new Town Hall Quarter.
The council is looking to turn its 1939 Grade II listed Town Hall into a hotel.
Several projects will see the Town Hall and historic Watford Colosseum retained, with the area redeveloped into new homes, business space and community space.
Peter Taylor, mayor of Watford, said: “We are looking for a partner who can blend a good understanding of heritage with leading-edge design and innovation, working with us to deliver our ambitions for a thriving, prosperous and welcoming town.”
