Watkin Jones has secured consent for a 322-flat build-to-rent project on Bath Lane, Leicester.
It will consist of 174 one-bedroom, 137 two-bedroom and 11 three-bedroom units.
The company expects to start work on the site next year with a phased completion anticipated during in 2019 or 2020.
The company now has six schemes targeted for completion between 2019 and 2021 “with a number of planning applications and other site-acquisition opportunities in negotiation”.

“We believe the BTR business will continue to drive growth, alongside our student accommodation business, as well as providing excellent visibility of earnings and cash flow.”
