Watkin Jones has received planning consent for the redevelopment of Northumbria Police’s former headquarters in Newcastle’s city centre.
The redevelopment of the police station in Market Street, consists of 225 beds and has a gross development value of £17m.
The development is anticipated to be completed in 2018.
