WDA secures £2.5m investment in Deeside, North Wales

The Welsh Development Agency has secured two new investments totalling £2.5m to Flintshire, North Wales.

Reading-based communications group Comtek plans to open a 1,393 sq m (15,000 sq ft) factory on Deeside Industrial Park for a satellite operation. New company North Wales Laser Cutting Ltd will also be starting up operations at Engineer Park, Sandycroft. The Welsh Office is assisting its start-up.

Mark Dadley of NWLC added that: “Sandycroft is in such close proximity to the motorway and trunk road systems that it is ideally located to serve the whole of North and Mid Wales and also the counties of North West England.”
