Wealth management giant signs for Spinningfields offices

Wealth management giant St James’s Place has selected Royal London Asset Management’s flagship 3 Hardman Square office building in Spinningfields as its new Manchester base.

The FTSE 100 company has signed a 10-year lease for the space, which includes a fifth-year break option. It will relocate from two existing offices in the city to around 12,000 sq ft on the fourth floor of the building.

Features at 3 Hardman Square include a two-tiered business lounge, wellness hub and cycle storage. The building was awarded a BREEAM In-Use Excellent rating and a Design Stage Environmental Performance index score of 10 out of 10.

Arabella Pollock, asset manager at Royal London Asset Management, said: “3 Hardman Square has been repositioned to provide inspiring office space that encourages collaboration and connection.”

Peter Alford, director of corporate real estate at St James’s Place, said: “Manchester is an important location for us, and 3 Hardman Square will help facilitate the future development of our business by providing a high-quality and sustainable office environment in the heart of the commercial district.”

CBRE and Colliers are the leasing agents for Royal London Asset Management on 3 Hardman Square. Knight Frank acted for St James’s Place.
