The Silvertown Partnership has appointed former Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer director Simon Webster to lead its £3.5bn Silvertown Quays development in East London.
The project, in London’s Royal Docks, is being carried out by a consortium that includes Chelsfield Properties, First Base and Macquarie Capital.
Webster will join as managing director from senior home and healthcare developer the Goodman Group.
The 62-acre plans, which include 3,000 homes and a business quarter, are being considered by Newham council.
