US real estate investment trust Ashford Hospitality Prime has received an around $735m cash offer for the company from Weisman Group.
Ashford Hospitality is reviewing the unsolicited offer, which would see holders of ordinary shares receive $20.25 per share, while holders of preferred shares would get around $25.
The company has investments in 11 luxury hotels and resorts in the US.
