Cardiff council has granted planning permission for the BBC’s 150,000 sq ft Welsh HQ building, the centrepiece of Rightacres’ Central Square development.
Phase two of the £800m scheme includes the BBC Cymru headquarters and a 100,000 sq ft speculative office block.
The first phase of the masterplan, first revealed by Estates Gazette in 2013, is the One Central Square office block, due to complete in December and become home to law firm Black Morgan.
