The Welsh Office will unveil plans today aimed at creating “industrial villages” in the poor areas of west Wales and the South Wales valleys.
It will be encouraging companies to use IT to counter the geographical drawbacks of the area.
The Welsh Office is also announce a joint venture company which will aim to establish a components supplier park for the automotive industry in one of the valleys.
