Brent has granted detailed approval to Quintain for their next phase at Wembley Park, as they push to start construction on 3,000 build-to-rent homes before the end of the year.
The plans for the E03 phase will see a tenure split of 58/42 in terms of private rent and intermediate rent, with all the homes ‘pepper-potted’ throughout the seven buildings across the plot. The tallest building will rise to 26 storeys.
Wembley Park is set to become an almost entirely build-to-rent scheme of more than 5,000 homes when complete.
Since the start of 2017, three large reserved matters applications have been submitted which include nearly 2,000 homes. This plot, which will include 743 units is the first to be approved. £18.25 million is sought for Community Infrastructure Levy payments.
Two other plots for a total of 1,166 homes are likely to go before committee soon.
